⚠️ Common traps and how to avoid them
Nothing here is illegal, but the market rewards buyers who check everything.
- Booths that call themselves a factory usually are not: ask to see the workshop or accept market prices.
- Samples can be swapped: the piece you approve is not always the piece that ships.
- Freight agents sometimes add charges later — take a written all-in quote before handing over goods.
- Never pay a large deposit to a booth you have just met; 30% is normal, 100% up front is not.
- 'Branded' stock lots may be copies: check wash labels, stitching and the feel of the fabric.
